I've never been a fan of hats because I've never been a big sports fan, I also never thought they fit me so I'm not a pro. But if it helps someone make a purchasing decision, I can tell. I just received it so at first glance it looks like a good quality hat. The seams are good, with no loose threads and made of a comfortable material. I ordered Kelly Green for St. Patrick's Day, but what I received is more of a Hunter Green color. It will still work and it was a cheap purchase so it doesn't matter. So when I have Hunter Green, the color is pretty much accurate when I hold it next to the Hunter Green image (at least on my phone). But if what I have is a Kelly Green hat, well, you get the point. The size seems pretty accurate. I measured my head with the bottom edge of the tape measure just above the top of my ears and slightly above my brows as I walked around and came out at about 24 3/4" (can be considered a big head but hey I'm 6ft 7" and just over 290 pounds). I ordered a size 7 3/4 and it fits flush. Not loose, but not too tight either. So if you like a looser fit I'll let you do the math vs the size chart. Honestly, I would go up a size if I had the chance. Now I know to look for 7 7/8 for future purchases, but 7 3/4 will do. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, especially for such a price. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there is a color issue and I'm not entirely sure I got what I ordered. Hope that helps. I've tried to cover the things I'm looking for in one review.
