Once I understood the purpose of the screw versus the push pins, the installation was a success. There were no instructions for the front flaps. The rear guard instructions are inadequate to say the least. Push pins are inserted on the back where the original connectors were. Drill two 1/8 holes where you want between the push pins. And a hole where the hole in the valve is. On the front, remove the two push pins where the two middle holes are in the flap. Lift the cover and reinsert the push pins. They just fit. Then drill 1/8 holes where needed to attach the screw and washers.
