Review on LEXXSON Capacitive Definition Navigation Mitsubishi by Tricia Rosinski

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good unit, needs some work

Update: While I really like the look and functionality of this Android radio, there were a few things that didn't make this setup fun at all... but for the Most of it is plug and play, it's not as easy as it seems. My 2015 Outlander had a factory backup camera and the wiring harness that Lexxson provided didn't fully cover all the connectors. I was confused because it had a full set of connectors in one of the pictures above (the picture is a bit misleading). I had to buy a separate wiring harness just for my factory camera (AX-MITSUCAM-6VMitsubishi 2014-2020 Backup Camera Retain/Add-On). Also, be very careful and be sure to use the included resistor so you don't get "Airbag Service Required". (Here's what "plug and play" didn't make so "plug and play".) This requires stripping 2 wires from your factory emergency light harness and airbags. I made the mistake of not using it and my SRS light came on. In case you have an "airbag" light I suggest fixing this by putting a resistor across the two wires you need to strip and buying a code reader which will clear and make sure of the SRS/airbag codes that the wire harness is fully connected. (I used the *INNOVA 3215-RS* scanner to erase the code). Also note that the vehicle must not be switched on if the hazard warning lights are off (this activates the airbag system and illuminates the airbag). On the plus side, I really like the user interface! It's beautiful and makes your car look years younger. I like its flexibility (lots of different things you can do with it). It uses the Google Play Store so many apps can be downloaded. I was able to download Apple Music. I love navigating. I like acting in films. You can literally use a web browser! I think it sounds pretty decent. Pretty good value for money. Lexxson needs to fix the wiring harness that comes with the system for Outlanders that come with factory cameras. Or add attachments to the wire harness - Provide a manual with a schematic or explanation of what to do - Provide a better picture of what to do with the resistor and where exactly to place it. (Email them for better picture quality, they respond pretty quickly (they usually reply within 24 hours)
