I used it as an extension for an electric jack on my trailer. I have a fifth wheel connector in the bed of my F250 that is not used with a bumper trailer and the connector on the jack was not long enough to allow me to pull in or out of the hitch and use the jack's LED lights . Posing for the camera. I could have made one out of parts scattered around the garage, but this chord is molded, one piece, and very thick so I don't have to worry about loose or rusted wires or connections in the plug. I throw it in the trailer after connecting.
