As a hobby screwdriver, I used the end mill in the collet and apparently didn't tighten it enough. I have milled a very long and deep pocket in bar or steel clamped over a sacrificial piece of steel on a bed. Begin cutting with good coolant flow. Everything was going fine until I felt a vibration. The collet got sick. The end mill fell straight into the milling bed. Starting at zero at 5/8 inch in diameter and going up to about 1/8 inch deep and nearly four inches long. GRRRRR! Asked my friends what to do with the gun. This product was the answer. Did he put my dope in when the car was fully usable? Assuming I'm not trying to get that small area to fully support the small work clamp, OH YES! Coolant, chips and oil cleaned. wiped off and blown with an air compressor and allowed to dry. I did the same with a small amount of acetone, let it dry and masked the area. I applied a nice domed drop in the rut and let it dry overnight. flush with a flat file. I checked the final height with a scraper attached to the spring. Ready. Touch lightly with a thin pad of Scotchbright to smooth and blend, then get back to racing! I'm still a little confused, but the grinder is fine. :). JB Weld would probably be just as good, but I decided to try this stuff. No regret. Good product.
