Review on Boye Aluminum Crochet 10 5 75MM 15 10 00MM by Shantel Griffin

A little difficult - for me

These hooks are of excellent quality. But it all depends on personal preference which hooks you like. Linear or tapered (for beginner knitters, look online to see what I mean). Boye hooks like these are tapered. Susan Bates hooks are built in series. I'm used to Bates but always wanted Boyes as I thought they were more comfortable and had a smoother ride. They looked so smooth and round. However! Looks like my preferences match! Lol To me they don't have the same smooth movement through the yarn as built in hooks. I feel like I'm struggling to use them throughout the project. My advice if you're just starting out Visit the store and see if you can try both types. Or, if you order online, order one of each type and use each on a project and see how you feel. Buy single hook relatively cheap. I'll keep using them to see if I can get used to them. Finally I bought them. Rschunimagu. But I won't scold them because I know they work for a lot of people. So I'd probably recommend starting with an appropriate size, say J or K, and seeing how you feel. You can't go wrong with any of these brands and I say this even though I'm more comfortable with Bates hooks. because I know they work for a lot of people.
