The tools work great but once you start sharpening you will quickly find that the block does not have the correctly formed notches to sharpen the blades included in the kit. I think most blades fit well, but the fourth was just unlucky. This resulted in me trying to get through and completely ruining the blades. Too bad I just didn't get the full size sling kit because the mini kit is full of heartbreak and disappointment. (And yes, I followed the instructions in the really useless book that came with the kit.) Thing is, they sell a kit that doesn't include the correct sling for the tools that come with the kit. Someone is doing and messing up the tools mentioned. Just spend the money to get the full set and you'll save on your tools in the long run.
