This is a solid product and overall I recommend it for the money, but the DIY enthusiast should be aware that there are a few issues: First and foremost, it has a bizarrely long drain pipe (much longer than the standard size). Now it's better to have one that's too long than too short, but that adds two things: first, make sure you have a hacksaw or similar tool as a necessary tool, and second, make sure you measure and cut excess pipe BEFORE installation. This will save you a lot of hassle. I had to cut off about two inches to connect to my elbow joint (standard height). drain, so make sure you have that too. Finally, the mechanism for opening and closing the drain is a) a little flimsy and b) doesn't have a threaded connection or a plug on the end, so the stem literally came loose every time I used the plug until I attached something to the end, um to keep it from slipping off (I went the lazy route and wrapped it with duct tape). If you can handle those little issues, this is a great buy.
