I used this yesterday to embed hinges in a door panel. I ended up creating some very good grooves, but it took some trial and error. Pros: The built-in depth stop for the cutter is useful. The cutter included in the kit is of pretty good quality. The included self-centering drill is very useful and works well. Corner parts for milling loops with different radii work well. Cons: Clamp is weak. Groove closer to door edge to match my existing groove. Do not overtighten the clamp on this unit as this will deform it a bit and also cause the body of this unit to move away from the edge of the door. This can be compensated for by pressing down on the router to keep its body against the edge of the door. I found it wasn't close enough to the edge of the door, so my first attempt at hanging the door ended up attaching the door to the doorstop on the hinge side. So I recut the hinges and this time place some spacers between the unit and the door to make sure the mount is in the right place.
