Review on 🔖 Tandy Leather Genuine Natural Cowhide Leather Strap 3-inch (76 mm) x 50-inch (1.3 m) 4578-00 by Heather Shaw

This Tandy product is incredibly disappointing. Not sure if I got a bad one or if this listing is for selling quality control defects. Is that from the back of a truck? In any case, what I have in my hands is not worth the price. Due to the poor quality after the actual damage, this product is simply poor quality in the deepest degree. The only thing that could make this product more disappointing is that it is not real leather. Here is the list, see photo.1. The product is almost 2 times thicker on one side than the other. See fig.2. One end has drilled a hole not shown or in the description.3. I have a Divit post production effect that creates a valley on the rough side of the skin and a mountain on the other. I shouldn't emit such damage. See fig.4. A thumbprint-sized stain leaves scars about 1/3 the length of the smooth treated side. See fig.5. The thin end is much rougher on the rough side than the other end on the rough side. It looks like this piece was "saved" by scraping something that got on it. There's even a cut that looks like the edge of a hand tool, which is clearly not part of the normal leather tanning process. See fig.
