Review on 💾 Superior Performance and Massive Storage: Seagate 4TB 7200RPM HDD by Park Chong Hyun ᠌

I was looking for a disk to store files (samples and libraries for vsti) in addition to the existing 2Tb SSD. System unit in mini-ITX format, very quiet. Therefore, a 4Tb SSD was also a priority, but for its cost you can take four such HDDs. Therefore, I decided to try the HDD first, I took the Seagate ST4000DM004, inside of which there are 2 pancakes of 2Tb each, i.e. it had to meet my requirements - fast data reading and quiet operation in general. The disk is made using SMR technology, due to the features of which the write speed is reduced, but this does not matter when storing data. As a result, the expectations were met - low cost, data reading speed corresponds to the declared one and it is really quiet.
