the pump is very durable except for the puncture site which is quite easy to grind but does use the not affect the product. Air will be forced into the tires quickly, but you'll definitely need shoulder strength to get the job done. I'll get better with time. It fits snugly on my bike frame and is easy to remove. The air pressure gauge can be difficult to read and I'm not sure I can measure it effectively, so I carry a separate tire pressure gauge. That's the only reason I give this bike pump 4 stars.
