This product is a replacement for the product that came with my 2010 Silverado which anyone looking for this product already knows. I would recommend purchasing the correct lift for your truck. It's 20.00 more but it fits perfectly. The quality of the hoist is comparable to the original part. The delivery was very fast as usual, the lift is in my truck and seems fine. The only problem with the process was getting the old one off, the factory had Loctite on the bolt and it took quite a while to remove. Use an open ended ratchet wrench to remove the bolt as the body is quite close to the bolt and the socket will not fit. In general, the Dorman product got my approval!
