Nice, compact design
This USB-C hub has a good design. It occupies both USB-C ports on my MacBook Air. The USB-C port is for power and data transfer. It has two USB 3 ports that work well with my USB 2 and USB 3 accessories, including my 1TB flash drives. As a bonus, it has an SD slot that supports my 128GB cards. I don't have a 4k display, but HDMI supports all resolutions that my display offers. Photo provided for reference. The picture is very clear and without problems. So a very efficient little device.
