I replaced my old Cisco EA4500 router with this router. The improvement in Wi-Fi signal is phenomenal! I bought a 60MB/s package from my ISP, which is enough for my needs. The Cisco router alone provided my home office with 25 MB/s (not much). I bought a Wi-Fi extender that boosts the signal to the 60MB/s range. Worked fine for the most part, but the repeater kept losing contact with the router. At least once a day - it will reconnect on its own, but that's problematic as I keep calling the work team. So it's time to update your router. Setup was easy, but the speed improvement was amazing. Using 2 different speed test websites (Ookla and Speakeasy) I was shocked - both show +110 MB/s! Achieving this speed in my home office and most places in my two story house. At the farthest range (40ft with a few more interference walls) I still get 85Mbps. I assume the Beam feature offers speeds above what I'm paying my ISP for? Even standing next to my old Cisco I couldn't get around 110MB/s. Let's see how it holds up during the work week! Now it is a REPAIR device. Although not in the original box, it was well packaged with the necessary hardware and instructions. The device itself still had the factory plastic inserts on both the front and the antennas. Looks like new, no visible defects. Will definitely buy again.
