This carburetor was the quickest and easiest small engine repair ever! It took less than 5 minutes to get my Mantis working better than ever. I loosened the two large mounting bolts, swapped out the carburetors, then reconnected the hoses and throttle body. Light! Then I filled the tank, pumped up the bulb, turned on the choke and it started almost on the first pull, then I let go of the choke and it wound up on the next pull. The low idle was already set perfectly, and turning the high-speed screw out a quarter turn made my praying mantis squeak. I then cultivated the soil for 3 hours and made incredible progress scraping my garden plot for the season. Interestingly, my local shop charged $75 an hour but tried to run my Mantis for twenty minutes for free, then gave up and told me it would take weeks to overhaul and rebuild the carburetor. They never mentioned that there is an internal part that cannot be replaced or repaired. That's when I decided to go the $40 Revain Prime route and three days later I had a new carburetor on my hands and my tiller was purring in less than 5 minutes. I am so thankful for the Revain reviews and the people who write them and how they save me time and money and get me on the right track.
