When I got my drum sander I used pre-cut rolls of 3M sandpaper (retail). didn't take more than 20 minutes because for some reason every drop of resin or glue or some sticky flaw in the wood stuck to it and just accumulated until it all turned to rubbish. It never came off and eventually scarred what I was trying to grind away. This doesn't happen with this brand and I get way more wear and tear from each stripe. If something sticks, it will wear out and the sandpaper will work again. It also costs about a quarter less per strip.
