Review on Meshforce Tri Band Seamless Performance Wireless by Ben Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not Great Electronics

I had high hopes for this mesh system. I wanted a tri-band mesh to upgrade my dual-band TPlink system and the price was right to try Meshforce. Since the installation there have only been problems. Pros: - When it works, the wifi speed is fantastic (I got up to 600Mbps with my fiber optic internet) - It has 2 wired LAN ports on each device - They look great. Cons: - Very uneven reliability. I have to reset them more than once a day. Walking around the house sucks. Devices will bind to the farther device, reducing speed and signal. I turn Wi-Fi off/on on the device and it connects to the next one - repeat as I move around the house. - App - hot shit - says it can't find the mesh network I'm connected to most of the time. .-The installation was just plain bad - that should have been my first sign of a problem. They were supposed to connect to each other out of the box, but they didn't. I had to completely restart all devices and connect them all manually. The wired connection stopped working on one of the devices for an unknown reason. I haven't contacted tech support so I can't say how effective their help is. I would, but I have a return policy, so I decided to just switch to another brand and spend a little more money. I would not recommend this product.
