When you have to deal with the pleasure of replacing a GM fuel pump, you will find that the OEM units and the units sold in major parts stores are quite expensive, which makes the job even more miserable MORE frustrating. There are also different pumps depending on the year of manufacture and model. This pump (TDC style) fits my UNRELIABLE FUEL SYSTEM. 2000-2001 GM Truck Style Application I checked the RPO codes and also did a parts search by VIN on the GM parts website to find the correct pump for my car and then found it here. The pump fits perfectly, comes with a new gasket and includes a fuel level sensor AND a fuel tank pressure sensor module (an extra expensive part on many pumps) so installation was 'easy'. Also came with a new wiring harness if your car didn't have a 4 pin fuel pump connector. It happened to me, so I didn't need a full tourniquet. As a tip - order a new snap ring with a pump. Your old one will be rusty and ugly. They are cheap. Also use the BRASS punch to remove the retaining ring. The sparks will make a failing fuel pump the least of your worries—if you survive. The pump has worked flawlessly so far and made a special order here ASAP for about 1/3 the cost of the big box/OEM products. Go to Revane Prime!
