Review on 🚣 Inflatable Boat Series: Intex Seahawk by John Frazier

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It deflated during use. We returned it.

This raft almost put us in a very dangerous situation. We are experienced rafters. We did a test airing and left it overnight. Everything seemed fine so we were blown away and headed to the river. Within an hour of the float, it began to drain. We stopped, aired and checked everything for holes. There were no holes anywhere. We figured this might be a standard thing when heat expands the PVC and airflow is needed. So we set off again because we had to get to the specific point where the car was. Again, within 30 minutes it began draining. again. That's when we noticed that the seams in the main part were leaking. We were far from the weight limit and didn't do anything that would have caused us problems. The water flowed smoothly, but it was an easy swimmer. Nothing special. We pumped it back up and tried to keep moving, but now we were losing air so quickly we knew we'd never get to the beach we needed. We had to turn sideways and climb an insanely steep 25ft cliff to get to the road AND ALSO take a boat and get ready. Luckily other people in the area stopped by to help as building a pulley-like system to get out of this mess wasn't easy. I understand with all the good reviews our seam is not the norm but after that scare we returned the raft and will not be getting another of this model. I cannot recommend this raft.
