I have replaced 6 or 7 year old bumpers that were on the cabinets when we bought this house 2 years ago. The easy part was installing the new pads and the hard part was removing the old, sticky ones. Applying these pads to a new, clean surface takes about 1 minute. behind the door/box. If you need to remove the old pads and clean the dirt from the surface, it will take about 15 minutes. out the door. I also put 2 pads on the bathroom and bedroom doors and they are quieter when closed.
