What Warranty? Purchased Jun 28 broke on Aug 30th and genie said I’m stuck paying for the repair
Genie tech said they’ll send a warranty part but I’ll have to pay a tech to fix it. The tech said a min charge of $150 to do the labor. The entire unit costed $220 and is 2 months old!Avoid genie. Not worth the headache.

- The motor on the Genie SilentMax 1000 opener is prone to overheating, causing it to malfunction
