Review on Audiolab 6000A: 100-Watt Stereo Integrated Amp with Bluetooth DAC - Silver by Wanda Johns

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bad Bluetooth best in amplifiers

My Audiolab 6000A arrived in 2 days. When I took it out of the shipping box, I noticed that the 6000A's box had been opened and sealed. So it looks like it's a throwback. This was NOT stated in the product description. However, the price was $200 less than the other 6000A. I should have known something was wrong, but I figured it was because it was silver and not black. However, it played beautifully and sounded great. The problem is that it doesn't connect to my phone or mp3 player via bluetooth. I asked a question about Revain and got 3 replies saying it should definitely connect effortlessly. Luckily I had a free return which I did and bought a new one. At least I hope it's new. February 20th update: NEW 6000A received. The packaging has not been opened, the device is new. It was easy to connect and start playing. It connects flawlessly to my Bluetooth devices and sounds great. I would give the new 6000A 5 stars.
