Review on Finnez Electrostatic Self Adhesive Protection Stickers by Dawn Robinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great for its purpose: privacy.

The privacy screen is great. I can't see the outside, and more importantly, people can't see the inside. My bedroom window faces the street, so it's nice to have an extra layer of privacy without closing the blinds. 3 cons: 1. I was hoping it would be *more brilliant* than it actually is. It was advertised as such, and it has quite a bit, but not much. Basically, it looks like a frosted window.2. In fact, the installation turned out to be more difficult than I thought, especially the trimming. I wish the release film (not privacy film actually, the film on the back to protect it from dust before you put it on the window) had squares, kind of like Christmas wrapping paper so you know what you're cutting into a parallel. It was difficult to get a straight and even line when cropping.3. It's easy to get rid of all the bubbles in the middle of the film, but it's almost impossible to get rid of them all from the edges. A few of my edges are swollen. I also cleaned the windows very well. The edges of the slide seem to stretch a little. Also when unfolding you have to be careful that the foil doesn't crease at all, because then it won't stick.

Pros
  • USE AND DETAILS - Window film comes rolled up and rolled into rolls of various sizes; Finnez film can be used for glass windows, sliding doors, glass furniture, etc.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
