Review on Edelbrock 1221 Air Cleaner with Signature Series Design by Steven Emberling

Great job, I bought the Amazon stock offer for $25. Fast delivery and excellent quality. Comes with chrome top, bottom and filter with box and instructions. Helps keep my engine bay looking clean while I fix my factory air filter. Decent quality filters. There were no issues with the finish and quality as others may have said. I recommend installed on c10 tbi 1987 5.7 350 v8. I also had to purchase a $10 Specter air cleaner riser kit - part #4954. This kit includes different sized risers for clearance. The bowl of the cleaner hit my valve bleed hose that went to the factory riser under the air cleaner. I suspect that was the problem because that Edelbrock kit lowers your filter by about a half inch. I installed a 1" riser and the problem was fixed and I was able to install this 14" cleaner instead of the smaller 10" cleaner. Really helped increase power at RPMs. I go much easier at 7pm.
