I love my item. I have only used it once and will use it for the second time. I noticed that there is a small dent on the rim and mine doesn't fit properly in the pan either. I don't know if there was a dent upon delivery or not. I didn't use the top the first time, so I only now noticed the damage. I cannot exchange as the expiry date for the return was September 12th. I just want an exchange. I pay attention to the things I buy and it confuses me. Now I'm stuck with a broken cap. I will continue to use it because overall I love it and will recommend it to my friends and family. I would just warn them to check for imperfections before using.
