Review on πŸ” Briggs & Stratton Authentic OEM 691035 Fuel Filter - 40 Micron (2 Pack) by Robert Tirona

Waste of money: replacement parts

I received these filters in a plain plastic bag with no Briggs and Stratton branding on the product or packaging. I was expecting clear plastic filters and got white opaque filters like the others. FYI the seller was "PowerToolReplacementParts" (performed by Revain). After installing one of the filters on my 2016 Toro Timemaster, the mower sat for about 10 minutes after work. At first I thought it was a carburetor problem, but finding no problems I checked the fuel lines before and after the filter. Bingo. Only a trickle of fuel came out of the fuel filter. I installed a second filter and thought the first filter was a fluke but found it had the same problem. I've since bought APE RACING filters: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075PXT9VP/The APE. The RACING filters are transparent, allow much more fuel to pass through and the mower will not stall after 10 minutes of mowing. They are also cheaper for 2 packs! I'm just frustrated that I wasted time and money on these supposedly "genuine OEM" B&S filters.
