Review on Memorex 4 7GB DVD R Discontinued Manufacturer by Darth Calder

Another 'Briansbro' review was correct. My only regret is that I didn't read it before purchasing the Memorex forms. Panasonic's new HS2 component DVD recorder can't handle these DVD-Rs for some reason. I burned 1 of 5 packages successfully. Every time I inserted the other 4, the player literally turned off and on again in "recovery mode". Strange. In addition to Briansbro's comments on compatibility, I also bought two Imation 5-pack Imation blank DVD-R discs because they only had one Memorex left (luckily!). I had no problems with the imation, none. My only regret is that I didn't read his review BEFORE spending time with Memorex. I was starting to think it was Panasonic (Lemon?). No, it was a Memorex. I hope I can stop (and enlighten) someone else before they buy these blank DVD-Rs to use with their fantastic Panasonic component DVD recorders. I have an HS2 with a 40 gigabyte hard drive, FYI.
