This solved my problem for now. I've had problems with the '06 2.3L Ranger 4 or 5 times as follows: The truck starts well and is hard. Walk (to the shooting range, to work, to the gym, etc.) for an hour. I get out and the car won't start. twists and turns. Nothing. Try again in a day. The same thing. Two more days in the same spirit, and then it starts, runs good and hard to the house. Driven again and left somewhere at a stop. Went back to the driveway and it starts hissing and missing. Ordered this part and it took a maximum of 10 full turns before tipping over, then double that. I'll change the spark plugs and wires when I have time. The truck is 98k at the time of publication. I bought it brand new. Update: Time REALLY shown. It's been 14 months and 6,000 miles and it has failed. I thought it was the plugs and cables. no Swapped the coil for a different brand. He's working well and hard again. I do not recommend.
