fixes power loss problems on Ford Flex

I have a 2013 Ford Flex with 66,000 miles. Lately we've been losing power in the engine while driving, and the car went into "lame mode" and barely had time to get to the curb. It turns out that the problem is typical for a number of Ford cars from 2010 to 2013. The computer chip in the throttle body fails and cannot correctly determine the position of the throttle plate in the part that restricts airflow to the engine. .Buying this Electronic Throttle Body will solve the problem. I am only giving this product 3 stars because it is very expensive here at Revain. I went to my local Ford dealer and bought the part direct from them for half the price listed here at Revain for a rebuilt throttle body. The part from Ford was also brand new. Installing this part on Flex and other Fords is very easy. Only 4 screws. You must disconnect the battery while working on this part. After installation, leave the positive cable connected to the battery and the ground cable connected to the battery. Connect the ground terminal to positive to clear the car computer. Then reconnect the battery and start the car. Let it idle for 15 minutes while the car's computer "relearns" the new throttle body calibration. Then drive the car carefully for 30 minutes while it determines the calibration of the throttle body depending on the gear shift. You should be fine from there. There are some great videos on youtube made by a Ford technician who explains everything well. The attached photo shows the sludge you can clean off your old throttle body - only focus on that if you are having idle issues. Loss of power at higher speeds indicates a faulty computer chip in the throttle body and you need to buy a new part.
