Review on 🔧 High Performance 2" Stainless Steel V-Band Clamp Heavy Duty Bolt - Ticon Industries: Durable and Reliable Solution by Srinivasan Bennett

After driving my car for 1.5 years I decided to remove the clamp to replace the down pipe. This is the second time the yoke has been removed - the locking nut must have nylon fiber or other fasteners that cannot withstand the heat that will bind in the nut and subsequently cause the bolt to break when the yoke is removed. Warranty not valid. Mentioned somewhere in the ad - I expect years of service from a stainless steel clamp! I'll buy a Vibrant replacement for another $5. There's no reason not to as the similar Vibrant comes with a high temperature lock nut and even has a spare catch in case something goes wrong, eliminating the need to throw away the entire clamp.
