Took a chance on this step hoping it will last longer than port freighters. I've also used Irwin step bits with pitch in the past. The problem is that they make about 4-6 holes and are blunt at 3/4" and 13/16". I made 5 holes in 1/8" mild steel and shot through with cutting oil every time I used it. Everything else cuts great, looks good and the price would be good if it weren't for a common problem pointed out I bump when I use it. Any other brand except Champion pretty much. Or a good load from China in freight ports. Too bad I haven't used it before because after 30 days there's often no returns. I get it, but sucks for me because I didn't use it until last week ok just my luck and fair warning to others.
