Took a chance on this step hoping it will last longer than port freighters. I've also used Irwin step bits with pitch in the past. The problem is that they make about 4-6 holes and are blunt at 3/4" and 13/16". I made 5 holes in 1/8" mild steel and shot through with cutting oil every time I used it.
