I have an English bulldog that defines stubbornness. Every night she decided it was time for a treat and wouldn't stop barking until I gave in. Then she started again for another treat. She could easily go on for an hour without giving up. This collar saved my sanity. I love that it has 99 hit levels and they recommend testing it for yourself first. I can set it very low, it doesn't hurt her, it just scares her. It also has a vibrate setting which I use as an alarm along with voice commands. It worked great and now I can watch TV or play games without the annoying constant barking. It turned out to be an excellent teaching tool. Most nights she listens to my voice commands to stop barking and I don't even wear a collar.
