I did too much research looking for a way to shorten my wallet strap for an upcoming event. I had to change my bag from a crossover strap to a very short shoulder strap for a semi-formal event. The reviews I found for all of these kicks were mixed so I had a really hard time deciding which one to go for. Over time I finally settled on this one and it was perfect for my needs. I think a lot of the complaints come from the fact that when you punch the first hole, the skin stays in the chamber. To get the next clean hole, you'll need to bend the paperclip and insert it into the hole punch to force out some of the remaining fumes inside. There is no guide to tell you this and it would be very helpful for the product manufacturer to include the appropriate tool to avoid bad reviews and returns. Once I figured that out, everything went smoothly, the holes looked and worked great, and the bag was reinvented to suit my needs.
