On a recent dive I tried out several cameras including a disposable waterproof camera from Kodak and Fuji. Neither camera is equipped with a flash, meaning everything underwater is kept in shades of blue unless you bring your own light. The camera was leaked, giving them an edge over the more expensive 'professional' cameras on this trip. Both the Kodak and Fuji look very similar, thanks to a sealed plastic body (with some positive buoyancy) and thick rubber straps to attach to your wrist or straps to your arm. BCD. I have to hand Fuji the edge in terms of both design and results. The Fuji was easier to roll up and photograph, and the images became sharper. 800 film at Kodak produced excessively grainy footage.
