I bought a refurbished one and it was DOA, no wifi signal at all. It doesn't send a signal when it's 2 feet away from it (literally). After several hours on the phone with Linksys we decided to do an RMA and they said that this EA9300 product was out of date in their stock, in other words they would no longer make or repair this model! They agreed to send me a newer model EA9400 but I received a refurbished one and worst of all it didn't come with a power supply! WTF? Another 45 minutes on the phone with Linksys and I was told they would request a power adapter from stock. The guy said to wait a few days for an answer. My advice to everyone who wants to save a few euros, buy Netgear, stay away from this brand! Spend the extra cash and get a better router that works as advertised without the hassle of RMAs and hours with customers. support service. Oh I had to pay UPS to ship the failed POS back to Linksys for a repaired unit after being repeatedly promised a brand new replacement for a newer model. The guy I spoke to last said that the guy who told me I'm getting a new router actually meant refurbished, so not new. I asked him several times if he meant brand new since it had never been used and he assured me it was a brand new unit. Thia was the worst purchase I have ever made from Revain! I know it's not Revain's fault but they should read the bad reviews and remove this product from their range. My best advice to anyone looking at the EA9300 or EA9400 is to run away from them as soon as possible. If you buy it, send it back to Revain as it will take Linksys a few weeks to try to get it right for you the customer and shipping back to Amazon is free. My trip to the UPS store to come back cost me about $17 and 30 minutes of my time. After the purchase I did a lot of research on these models and saw more bad than good. If possible I will return this junk and buy a Netgear router. nighthawk. they are much more stable and technically better than Linksys. Sure it's more expensive but I think you get what you pay for in this case. They get 1 star because 1/2 star wasn't an option. Please buyer be careful! You will regret this purchase if you ignore and buy this product. Oh yeah one more thing just so you know it's me and a roommate and we only have 5 wireless devices on at the same time sometimes less. not that we're trying to squeeze everything out of this router. These are mostly wired devices such as computers, televisions and game consoles. everything wired. We like to use Wi-Fi on our phones whenever we can.
