Review on πŸ”§ BLACK+DECKER BDCDD12C 12V Cordless Driver by Daniel Jackson

Great compact drill. Requires variable speed, trickle charge and power

Exactly what I wanted. Barn drills that not only have seen better days but are really big and in most cases too big for the small jobs I show them. This is a compact drill that holds a charge for a very long time and works very well too. At 12 volts, it's powerful enough for most household chores. also has all the important variable speed features to get just the power and spin you need. It arrived on a small charge but I plugged it in to get full power which lasted just over 2 hours. According to the instructions, it should be charged for more than a year, which would be great. There's nothing more annoying than pulling out a cordless drill only to find it dead or nearly dead. Long charging will be a very nice plus. And the last thing that is very important to me is the price. At $25 at the time of writing this article, not only was it the ideal performance and size, it was also the price. I'm not a professional and the jobs I have in mind here for a drill press don't require all the power and price that many carry from now on. It's a very good drill, compact, just what I wanted and it's a well-known brand at a very reasonable price. Can't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • PRECISE CONTROL - 550rpm motor with 11 position clutch eliminates overboring
Cons
  • Very expensive
