Review on Philips 272E1CA Frameless Adaptive Sync Replacement Monitor: πŸ–₯️ Full HD, Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, Curved LED Display by Darnell Lavy

Big, big monitor. Very bright. HAS NO SPEAKERS. I love the curved display.

Very easy to set up. Just screw in a screw to secure the base, plug in the power cord and HDMI cable, and you're done. It's very big. You should position it correctly (at eye level in the center of the monitor) otherwise you'll tire yourself looking up or down to see everything. For real. IT'S SO BIG. There is an error in the description. This monitor (E221C) has no speakers. It has an audio output for headphones or computer speakers, but no built-in speakers. This bothered me because (1) I was hoping to free up some desk space by getting rid of my speakers and (2) I spent a few hours fixing my audio setup because I thought so , I should get sound from my speakers. Also, this thing is disturbingly bright. I get 20% brightness enough to read. When I first turned it on, it was facing the sun. (Okay, maybe not that bad, but it was HELL!) Great to play with. It fills most of your field of view, allowing you to really immerse yourself in the action. It's not as great as I had hoped. Text and images in browsers or word processing programs are simply larger. I think if I had to do it again I would go for a monitor of this size but with a resolution higher than HD. I definitely wish there was "more stuff" on screen than just the same more.
