Review on 🍳 Cuisinart GG45-25 GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch by 18-Inch Double-Burner Griddle: Efficient and Versatile Cooking Solution by Joshua Pilla

Started great. Got incredibly sticky.

My first GreenGourmet pan worked so well that I bought several more (all anodized aluminum) to replace my old Teflon pans. Unfortunately, each has gone from brilliant non-stick surfaces to the most frustrating sticky surfaces I've ever had the misfortune to cook on. Judging from all the posts I've read about the same problem, I have the impression that sooner or later these pots will fail with everyone. How long this takes can depend on how hot they are, what oils are used on them (either straight or from cooked foods), or how they are washed. In the end I don't think the reason really matters. These pans do not work as advertised for a long time. Some people have had limited success restoring nonstick properties by soaking and/or cleaning with vinegar and/or baking soda, but pans just fail again. A review of Cooks Illustrated is worth reading. This could explain why these pans fail. [.] They come with a lifetime guarantee, which is good in principle, but Cuisinart's customer service requires the buyer to return the pans to the company for evaluation. Instead of wasting money on shipping every year or two, I toss those pans and buy stainless ones. I'd rather use a little oil when cooking than constantly fret about pans sticking to the food they're cooking in.
