brew coffee? Buy this kettle.

For years I've been boiling water for coffee from an ordinary kettle with a short spout and a whistle that makes all sorts of noises as the water boils. There was not complete control over the pour, which could lead to problems with uneven extraction. In addition, general-purpose boilers are bulky and difficult to cast. Grab this Bonavita teapot (or Hario's equivalent teapot if you prefer the style, but I prefer this one, it's great!). Here's how I use it: 1) Boil water in my regular kettle 2) When it boils, pour it into this Bonavita kettle (this step also helps cool the water from boiling) 3) Throw a thermometer in the water and wait until it boils cooling stage. Brewing temperature, or if you're hardcore, wait for your gut to tell you the water is ready. 4) Pour about 30-50ml of water over the coffee grounds, making sure it is evenly wetted. Wait about 30 seconds for the ground coffee to stop bubbling (this happens when freshly roasted and ground beans release some CO2). French Press, Chemex, Aeropress, etc.) 6) Have some damn good coffee. The gentle, temperature-controlled jet that comes out of the swan-neck spout allows the water to be easily directed to specific areas, which moistens the coffee. control flowering evenly and well in fresher soil. It's also easier to pour the water slowly without it becoming a trickle, which can lead to splattering and eventually a dirty countertop. So with a standard kettle, all I had to do was pour my grounds, which can result in uneven extraction for pourover brewers. Brewer). It's large enough to fill an 8-cup French press with water; You could probably fill a 10 cup brewery with a full kettle. Highly recommended!
