I've used several of these and really can't think of a way to improve on their design. I carefully tune my blades to get a really good slide in fit where it takes some force to get them out of the groove but not so tight that the wood fixture they go into or the T- Groove rail itself is deformed or loaded. I use construction glue to hold them in place. Epoxy works well too, but you MUST use slow setting epoxy, especially for longer traces. Because the rails are grooved on the sides and back, it doesn't require as much adhesive force for a durable and strong placement. I have used them on a large cross section sled, drill table and circular saw guard which makes it much easier to use a vertical spring board. They work well with 1/4-20 hex head screws so no specialty screws are required and the price is right. I didn't find it necessary to screw them down as the glue worked well so the lack of pre-drilled holes didn't bother me. In fact, I prefer no holes. If I need them I can always drill and sink my own as I see fit.
