This paper is good but not perfect. The most important detail to note is that it is bleed resistant, not bleed resistant. The reason it is resistant to bleeding is because the paper can absorb ink and has no ink puddle on the surface to cause ink bleeding. So be careful when walking over the area to do the blending. I agree that paper doesn't bleed because even thin marker paper like Canson Pro Layout Marker paper will bleed if you go a lot over an area. Except for the bleeding ink on the paper, this marker paper is good. I recommend asking Strathmore for a paper sample to try. I was able to get a sample of the paper and I liked it. For me, the paper is beautiful. It's smooth and thick. Even though it says 50 lbs, it's pretty thick as cardboard. I'm glad I tried it because the markers fit well on this paper. If you need a thicker paper, try Bristol Smooth paper. It's very thick and handles markers well.
