Wouldn't necessarily recommend for a medium sized bunny but might be a toy breed. Even so, it will take a lot of time outside the cage. Maybe it would be better for a guinea pig. Definitely not 2. The assembly is not bad. I was able to do this without a guide, assuming I put together a very similar how-to guide the night before. I love that it comes with a water bottle and food bowl. It's fairly easy to clean if you completely remove and hide the top. I wouldn't call it strong. It's pretty plain plastic. A very small piece of the base was broken off, but it's not bad enough to return or cause a problem. For the price I can't complain. Just be smart with the size of the pet you put inside.
