Review on Diamond Core π Drill for Concrete- Toolgal by Carlos Long
Surprisingly no problems with hardened reinforced concrete
I needed to drill a hole in an 8 inch concrete slab. I knew there was rebar there so thought I might hit a chunk but instead I managed to hit a rebar connection! through two pieces of rebar, but it went through both pieces of rebar and then continued safely through the rest of the slab. The hole is finished, the drill bit is undamaged. I've never used one of these so I can't compare to other brands. I've used two Dewalt cordless cordless hand drills, each with a 9Ah battery.
