Pretty good but aux out (not aux in) is definitely a bug

I used to have a Nulaxy KM18 FM transmitter. What I like about this KM30: - Has a built-in microphone. The KM18 didn't do this and relied on my phone mic for car calls. I had to speak fairly loudly to project my voice onto my phone, which was at arm's length, and my phone mic isn't the best to start with. The mic on this one seems to work well - Has an on/off button (TRE button, long press) - Displays the car's voltage at all times. KM18 was only displayed when the phone was not connected. What I don't like: - The KM18 had a "Paired" beep when the phone connected via Bluetooth. It just shows the connection on the screen, which is a bit small. Did I mention the screen is pretty small? It should be double the size for all the information displayed. The overall volume projection is about 10-15% less than the KM18. It has an aux output, no aux input. At first I thought it was a typo. No, that is not so. If the FM signal is not sufficiently transmitted to the car radio, you can connect the AUX output of the car radio to the AUX input of the car radio. Hm? Seems like overkill and for me at least the reason I got this was because I don't have an aux in my car stereo. Spirit. This has completely changed my usual use of connecting my MP3 player to an FM transmitter via the transmitter's aux input. You can not. That's a stupid decision. The workaround was to transfer my music from my MP3 player to a USB drive (should use FAT32 and not NTFS) and connect it to that transmitter. There is no folder management (the manual says there is, but I don't see it). You can choose to repeat all, repeat once, or play in random order. Worst case scenario, I have to scroll through all 600 of my songs to find the one I want. On the other hand, I no longer have to worry about the battery life of my mp3, since I only play songs from a USB stick. this latest version just to return the thing, not sure. UPDATE October 17, 2020 I can now access folder management and see all my songs by folder/artist. While I'm happy with it, the biggest problem with accessing my folders is that the screen is too small. The cigarette lighter plug is below my knee, so this transmitter is not only at arm's length, but also low. When I'm wearing sunglasses, it's almost impossible to read the screen (and definitely dangerous to try and drive). If this thing had an aux jack, the screen size wouldn't be an issue. So it either needs an aux jack or the screen needs to be 3-4 times bigger. It's neat, works well, but in practice it's awkward to use. If you store and play music from your phone, my complaints probably won't affect you as much. I spoke to Nulaxy representatives and they were very accommodating. If you have any problem with their products, rest assured that they will help you.
