You can buy wood repair epoxy putty all over the internet and in some stores. This material is different and I had a hard time finding it. The consistency is between liquid resin and putty. The consistency of the resin part is like cake frosting, while the hardener is like thick pancake or cake batter. When mixed, the end product falls somewhere between the two, but once cured is as tough as any other epoxy wood putty. The period of operation is similar to that of putty compositions. If there's a better grain removal or fill product for a mirror-smooth, durable wood surface (such as a piano top) on a vertical or overhead surface, I haven't found it. I have found this liquid and epoxy putty to be invaluable when it comes to wood restoration and repairs. Finally, if you haven't read the description of what you're buying, don't complain. People who do this and mistakenly downgrade products should not leave reviews.
