Okay, I have a 1999 Chevy S10 2.2 RWD and pins where I could put the screws for these suction cups. The screws provided were too small for the holes after I removed the push pins (I removed the push pins because I intend to reuse them when installing as I saw one in a junk yard with the same pins used for the same purpose were fenders where you mount them and trace the circles you see through the fender to line up the holes on those fenders and drill such.I decided to just use small screws with fairly wide hole washers on either side.I attached them too and tightened them up. They are currently well fastened but they will probably end up with push pins or self tapping screws, pics but take dirt, mud, water etc and scrap metal to the landfill and they're still holding on ! Neither cracks.
