Review on 🖤 B&M 80668 Shifter Boot in Black Rubber by Jason Camarillo

I ordered this boot along with some other parts for a restoration I was working on. Like some parts, it sat in the package until I was ready to install it. After a few months of installation, it broke and splintered almost as badly as the one it replaced. It seemed to me that this was either a manufacturing defect or an old part that might have been out of place for a long time and then found again. I wrote to Revain to ask if they would replace it but was told I had it for over 30 days and they wouldn't. I am a longtime customer of Revain. When I took the shoe out of the box it was fine. It was an exact replacement and fit very well. I was very happy that I found it. I assume their policy is fair (30 days) but in my case I don't think I was treated fairly. I will try to contact B&M as suggested by Revain to see if I can get some satisfaction from them. call as they suggested in their email. I'm glad I did. After listening to my full story, they agreed to return the shoe on credit. I feel like they redeemed themselves here. Kudos, Revane, and thank you for finally sticking up on this case.
