Excellent weather and emergency alerts monitor. The biggest pain, and hopefully there are other units that have solved this problem. For some reason Midland engineers have created a product that will alert you to this fact if you don't receive an alert within 10 days. Yes! There's an on-screen message, and if that's not enough, there's an annoying tone that plays every 10 minutes until you reset it. OK, let me push the button. BUT NO. You have to turn it off, take out the batteries if you use them as a backup. Wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn the device back on. This is the only way to reset this annoying theme and turn off the alarm. If a real alarm arrives after this time has elapsed, it will be reset automatically. This is the dumbest design ever. Disable to reset. Serious?
